Totally Good Media (TGM) was founded in 2004 while promoting the third US teaching tour of the late Tibetan master, Kunzang Dechen Lingpa Rinpoche (pictured at left). Rinpoche’s first name, Kunzang, means “total goodness” in Tibetan, thus the name Totally Good Media was born.
It has been said that to meet authentic exemplars of Dharma practice is as rare as seeing a star in the daytime. In an effort to help preserve and share this rare and precious light, TGM contributes a portions of its services to organizations and projects of it’s choosing. See a list of our current and past projects here.
Other TGM clients contribute positively to the local communities though educational initiative, theraputic services, and the arts. See a list of past and current TGM clients here. In 2010, Totally Good Media had the great honor of donating it’s video production services to Karma Triyana Dharmachakra, the North American seat of His Holiness the 17th Karmapa, for the 70-hour production week of the First North American Monlam. In 2011, when His Holiness visited KTD for the second time to teach, we again had the honor of serving in a mulit-media collaborative capacity.
Currently, TGM is assisting KTD with creating, developing, and facilitating Bodhi Kids, an national education program for children and families that employs storytelling, the arts, and environmental awareness activities to convey the main principles of the Buddha's teachings.
